Broker Appointment Requirements
To become an appointed NITIC broker, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Licensed Agent or Agency — Must be a licensed agent or agency in good standing with your state's Department of Insurance.
- Active E&O Coverage — Must have an active Errors & Omissions (E&O) policy with minimum aggregate limits of $1,000,000. Property and Casualty E&O only. Life and Health E&O policies are not acceptable.
- Completed Paperwork — Must provide completed copies of:
- Broker Agreement Form
- W-9 Form
- Agency Profile Form
- License Copies — Scanned copies of your state insurance licenses (both agency license and producer license).
